New Grandson Logan James

Last Friday the 3rd February my step-daughter had her first baby, Logan James, he is so gorgeous. He was due on the 6Th, but when she went for her check on the Thursday they discovered, after telling her for weeks his head was right down, that he was breech, so she had a c-section on the Friday, she was lucky she did not go into labour naturally, being breech, and his head was stuck under her rib and he was
9lb 3oz, an 53cm long. Lauren an Rhys have handled it marvelously and are all now home and doing great.
My son and his girlfriend have their 3rd baby due in July, its never ending with babies here lol, so we now have 17 grand babies, 9 boys and 8 girls!!

She is available at Bizzy Bec's on-line store Dawn has been coloured with Copic's.I used Cuttlebug 'Love Language' embossing folder on one half of the white cardstock, the other half I punched the edge with a Martha Stewart Border punch, the hearts are also a Martha Stewart punch and I have layered 2 together, a Heart Doily, white ribbon and bow, some pearls and some small white Kaiser Roses....Everything on my card (except the Martha Stewart punches) are available at Bizzy Bec's on-line store...

Beautiful moments

Hi all this is another no image card I made, I have also done another couple of scrapbooking pages so will get the pics uploaded soon, an I'm hanging out to play with my flowers from Cheryl! I honestly haven't had the time to do much creating :(
It was my birthday last week so stay tuned for some promised candy, have 3 of my grandchildren at the moment and a busy couple of days ahead but hopefully can organise the candy for the end of the week.

Hi All, I have popped on a couple of creations I have made without an image, this has completely changed the way I look at DP, loving the challenge. I have so wanted to do more posts but unfortunately I still have not been well, but today has been my best day all Week, so hopefully will be better now. And next week, well hopefully I can do those posts I want to do and get sone work done ( lol work lol, sounds good), for Bec, as my DT work has been a bit lax at the moment....

The lovely and talented Cheryl, offered some blog Candy last November, and I won wow wow, so how happy was I on Tuesday this week when a parcel arrived with my goodies. So thanks again Cheryl, cant wait to play with these bits.

This came at a good time as I needed cheering up, I had been in bed for 2 days sick when it arrived, an I still have spent the last couple days in bed, this afternoon is the first I have been able to get around the house, and I'm exhausted after doing anything, but hopefully I will just get better now, unfortunately wont be able to play with me goodies yet as I just have not the strength, my arms are aching just from this :(

Here's another Scrap page I did inspired by Julie Winks at Miss Arts Papercrafting School. That was so much fun, playing with Gesso and Texture paste!!
The subjects are my gorgeous sister, my granddaughter and my daughter.
The DP is from Making Memories and Prima, Glimmermist, Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Alterations 'Once Upon A Time' Alphabet die, Doodle Genie Stencil, Making Memories Metal Embellishment, Prima key an bits from my stash.
So loving doing some pages and hope to have a bit more balance this coming New Year.

Hi all, hope you are all well and ready for christmas! If you still have some quick cards to make then check out Bec;s range of digi's from the Blue Butterfly Digi -
'Christmas Collection', Holly is supposed to be sitting on a lovely Christmas Bauble , but I decided not to use it. I have again used the 'Eskimo Kisses' DP from Basic Grey, and MFT Snowflakes, the Kindy Glitz is Crystalina, but for some reason on the bottom Snowflake it looks green! Some ribbon an bling all done, and I made the white flower, didn't like it where it is but used my hot glue gun so it wouldn't come off lol, oh an the sentiment was a freebie by Ladybug Crafts with the Australian Simply Cards Magazine. Holly is of course coloured with my Copics these and all your supplies are available from Bizzy Bec's on-line store.

Wow look at this a scrap booking layout, no card lol, I have not scrap booked for so long,which is silly when I have such gorgeous subjects and now I have got my new Polaroid GL10 printer, I will be doing more pages. This is my granddaughter, Elena, isn't she just adorable! I has so much fun doing this page. I have used DP from Glitz Design 'Butterfly Dreamer Floral' the corner flourish from Dusty Attic I cut into 2 sections and painted with Making Memories Funky Vintage Lipstick paint, the flowers are from Prima and Kaiser, Making Memories ready to glitter Alpha Stickers have been sprinkled with Shimmer Pink glitter, and I used a Marthe Stewart Around the corner punch.

Hope you are all well and all prepared for Christmas, I'm not lol.

My re furbished craft room!

We finally got around to painting the study/craft room, kept it nice and neutral, now just need to add some finishing touches but thought I would share how it looks now. I got rid of the old dining table I had to work on, and we got 2 matching desks, Ricks is behind mine. And I added some Wall Stickers for a bit of a lift, and I found this gorgeous Birdcage (on the top of the shelve on my desk), from a Little shop around the corner, I want to embellish it up lol. One entire wall of the study is built in shelves, so I have lots of gear in there but the bits I use most are close at hand and all the shelves on the little trolley have bits I use a lot so I just wheel it closer when I'm playing!

Hot here in West Australia, an we have been working in the garden...finally. Will share the before an after pics soon.

Hi all, can you believe it is December! I thought with not working I would be so organised with Christmas...ya right lol, will start soon!!

Now I have to admit I find Christmas cards a real Challenge, especially with images, so although I love this image from the Blue Butterfly Digi's 'Christmas Collection' -Holly with Reindeer,and she is gorgeous to colour, I just found putting it all together, challenging, but hope I have inspired you in someway.
Holly is coloured with Copic's (I find red an black a Challenge too) and the fur on her outfit is Sparkly Fluff, the DP is from Basic Grey's - 'Eskimo Kisses' Collection that I had from last Christmas. The Ticket Sentiment is from Bizzy Bec's, as is the Ribbon. Snowflakes are cut with My Favourite Things Die-namics, and I have covered them with Kindy Glitz and popped on some gorgeous Bling dots from Kaiser.

Wow another week already, and today I want to share with you this cute image from the Nellie Snellen range of Stamps- 'Frog on Flower', isn't it just so cute, I have of course coloured with my Copic's! I have kept this simple and just used DP from the Basic Grey -'little black dress' range, Cheery Lynn Designs - Doiley Die - 'English Tea Party' White rose's (one was sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmermist) these are all available (not the Glimmermist) from Bizzy Bec's on-line Store. The Black flower is by Prima from my LSS. Sentiment is from My Favourite Things, Kaiser Pearls coloured with Black Copic.

Hi all, I have had so much happening lately, an so many migraines, I have not done much blogging. I'm also having trouble with my lap top, sometimes it works an sometimes not, so it's going in for a check up soon. But as you can see it is currently 'playing nicely'! I have made a few cards and have been trying to make cards with NO image! Now that is a challenge for me because I usually always use an Image, I have really been enjoying the challenge, it makes you look at the DP so differently too. So over the next few days I will add some of my 'new look' creations but I really must catch up on my DT work for Bec or I'll be getting in trouble (just kidding, Bec too nice for that)! So I hope you like what I have done, I would love some feed back, good or bad, so please leave me some comments. I'm putting together some Candy too so stay tuned.

For our 2nd Challenge at the 'Friday Sketch Challenge Blog' we have a Sketch by Tracey.

For our 2nd Challenge over at Friday Sketchers I have used this cute La La Land Crafts Stamp - 'Buccaneer Marci', now I wasn't sure about these stamps but I'm actually really liking them, I picked this one up from Anne-Marie at my LSS Made With Memories, she is coloured with Copics, the DP is from the 'Shaken Not Stirred Collection' from Kaisercraft, Ribbon an Lace from Bizzy Bec's, red flowers were pink from BB but I sprayed them with Glimmermist, Black hearts were white and are coloured with Copic's. I have also used some H2o's to highlight some parts of Marci, but you can't really see that in the photo.

Creating awareness of a rare Disease HAE

As some of you know, some of my children and grandchildren, have a Rare Disease called Hereditary Angioedema (HAE). We are trying to create awareness of this Disease, for anyone that is interested this is a Documentary made in America talking to suffers and their families about this Disease,
SWELL DOCUMENTARY. Unfortunately I was not shocked by the swollen faces etc of these people as I have seen it many times with my own children, but I was upset by how they themselves feel with this Disease and the families that, like me, have to watch their loved ones go through this.

Swell is a documentary film that showcases the lives of people suffering from a rare, genetic disorder, Hereditary Angioedema (HAE). Upon viewing the film, you will not only learn first-hand what it is like to suffer from the disease, but also how it affects family, friends and loved ones.

HAE is a rare, potentially fatal genetic disorder caused by a deficiency of functional C1 Inhibitor and characterized clinically by non-pitting, non-itchy, swelling that can occur in any part of the body but typically involves the extremities, gastrointestinal tract, face, trunk, genitals, and upper airway.hugs

A card an more whining...lol

Well it's Friday already and wow what a week, I will be glad when it over! Yesterday my day just got worse!! There was the cat issue, then I had a call from my son in South Australia telling me they were at the hospital with Rain, my 14mth old grand-daughter had she had a fall and was out of it for a few minutes, and had a huge lump on her head! She was kept in hospital over-night, but is home now and seems ok, though the parents are still in shock, my son was a mess he saw her laying motionless on the floor and you can imagine what went through his mind, Dianelle heard the crack as well so she is even worse poor thing, but as I said to them we can't watch them 27/7 these things happen! Then my other son who split from his fiancee and and mum to their 2 children, found out some nasty things, then my daughter who suffers from HAE started getting the swelling in her tummy (luckily it was a minor attack she treated at home with her meds and did not have to go to the hospital), then at 2am this morning I woke with a very bad Migraine, I got up an took the new meds that the Dr put me on that actually WORKS it is called Maxalt, it is a wafer you put under your tongue and it even helps the nausea, half hour later it was under control and this morning it is gone even though I feel shattered!....umm wonder why!! OK so I have got that all off of my chest lol.

I have at east managed to post a card today, and look no image again!! The DP is from Making Memories, I did lots of distressing and also smeared some TH Distress Cracke Paint and SU All-Purpose Ink - Frost white (which is really shimmery), Lace and the Ivory flowers from Bizzy Bec, I painted a Collections heart with TH Distress Crackle Paint - Picket Fence, then when it was dry used Distress Ink - Fired Brick and Victorian Velvet to colour and finally when dry I covered it with Distress Crackle Paint - Rock Candy, Picket fence from Dust Attic is also painted with Distress Crackle paint - Picket Fence a few Kaiser Pearls, stamped phrase and all done.

Well I hope you had a better week then me and hope you have a good weekend. I'm not looking forward to Sunday as saying goodbye to Chester will be hard, but we get too pick another kitten (they exchange not refund) so I suppose that might help, but still feel dreadful!!

Chester going home...

Sadly our little British Shorthair- Chester is going back to the breeder on the weekend. We have tried for the 5mths we have had him to get him settled in with us, but unfortunately he is getting worse not better. He gets on great with Marley, Rick can have him on his lap for half hour sometimes, I pick him up an he just hates it and if you go to touch him he cowers away from you, and he had started to get his claws out. I spoke to the breeder a few weeks ago, and she offered to swap him, but we said no. The breeder contacted us again today to see how we were going, and unfortunately he is no better. The breeder thinks he will get worse. So we have made the heartbreaking decision to return him. I know we have made the right decision as he is getting nastier and we have our grand children to think of too, but it is still really difficult, and I'm feeling really bad :(

Another No Image Creation

This is another card I have made again with no image, and my own DP, I have used the same Collections Script Stamp and Tim Holtz Dot Stamp as before and another Tag from Pinkpaislee Mist-a-bles, inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Weathered Wood, the Rosette Ribbon is from Tim Holtz with a sprinkle of Tattered Angels 'Glam' - 'Tinsel Town', which I have also painted on the 2 smaller White Roses, the larger flower is from Kaiser, the Heart Doiley is from Bizzy Bec's, the arched looking piece along the bottom of the page is the surrounds of the piece from Dusty Attics 'Sm Picket Fence' that I have painted with Tim Holtz Crackle Paint 'Picket Fence' and inked the edges in Tim Holt Frayed Burlap, then gave it a light coat of the TA Glam. I stamped the Doiley with a stamp but not sure what it called, but I used the WW again from TH.
It was supposed to be blues but it actually looks grey so quite happy with that.

First I want to say this is inspired by a gorgeous an talented lady 'Ivana' her creations are just STUNNING , go an have a look at her blog 'Paper Girl Crafts' you will be amazed !!
I have been wanting to make some cards with no images, so here is one I have done. I have even made my own DP. For this one I used a Script Stamp from Collections, a Spotted Tim Holtz Stamp, I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap and Weathered Wood, a Doiley from Bizzy Bec's, and the Journal Tag is a Mist-a-ble from Pinkpaislee, inked with TH Frayed Burlap, and stamped with a phrase from Tickled Pink, the Ribbon is from Tim Holtz (from LSS) and I wet it and scrunched it and made 2 bows which I glued together, and I have used a Sparklet from Kaiser in the centre, these are gorgeous, found them in my Local Scrap Booking Store - Made With Memories, the Vintage Embellishment is from Melissa Frances, which is also from LSS, Anne-Marie there has a great range.Not happy with photo, looks so much better IRL!

Raising awareness of HAE a rare disease...

As some of you would know (it says in my profile), I have 6 children, what you would not know is that 4 of my children have a rare disease called 'Hereditary AngioEdema HAE)'

What is Hereditary AngioEdema (HAE)?
Hereditary AngioEdema (HAE) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by episodes of swelling (edema attacks) in different areas of the skin or the internal organs. In particular, it occurs in the upper respiratory tract and intestine.(2,4)
Episodes affecting the larynx or tongue are particularly dangerous and can cause death by suffocation if untreated.(4,8-10)

How many people are affected by HAE?
Exact figures regarding the incidence of HAE are not available. It is estimated that about 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 50,000 people are affected worldwide.(2,11)

I have 1 daughter with HAE and 3 of my boys, Amanda is 29yrs old, she has 3 girls, 2 of which also have HAE. Amanda has just traveled to Sydney for the weekend to be involved in the HAE Organisation (she was elected Secretary). There aim apart from improving treatment is to promote awareness of this Disease. So you will see me post more about it in the future.
I wish there had been more know about HAE when my children were younger, I used to spend so much time at the hospital, and it was very scary, I remember once Amanda's face/neck had swollen so badly she was having breathing problems and we had a police escort to the children's hospital (PMH). And we had to put a picture of her normal face above her hospital bed so the hospital staff knew what she really looked like!If anyone is interesting on reading, finding out more or maybe you even know some-one with this disease, you can contact me or have a look at the website.

I have used a Tilda that was stamped up ages ago for me, so not sure of this ones name, but she is adorable! Of course she is coloured with Copic's, and I have used the Spellbinders Labels Twenty-One, the DP is by Prima - 'Sparkling Spring' Collection (appropriate), all these items are available from Bizzy Bec's on-line Store. I have also used a Martha Stewart Punch, seam binding and Kaiser Pearls, the Flowers I made myself and put a pearl in each (have a nasty blister on my finger where I burnt it using the hot glue gun on the flowers)!

My new Green Machine.......

Mine-

I just had to share my new coffe machine with you,isn't it just gorgeous!! We already have the big Saeco Machine in silver that we have had for years but when I saw this one in the local Matchbox Store, I just knew I had to have it. The colours are all gorgeous, but I have Red an Lime Green in my kitchen and family room so I just had to have the Lime Green lol (plus they do Red but it is not available in WA), it is on lay-by so when I bring it home I will take a pic of it in the kitchen an share with you.

My first Smiggle purchase!

Hi all, hope you have had a good weekend. We did! Did abit of shopping on Saturday, went into the local Craft Shop 'Made with Memories', got some bits, and I always look in 'Smiggles' but have never brought anything for my-self, but they had these gorgeous containers, called Planters, in all diff colours and 2 diff sizes, I got the largest one ($9.99), and it has foam inside that is cut so you can slip your pens scissors or whatever in....how cool and they look great, and you could decorate if you wanted! So I just wanted to share it with you. Sunday was lovely an relaxing played in my room for awhile an popped into my parents, Rick was out fishing so we had fresh fish for tea! Have a great week all'

Dream...

Wow can you believe it, we are half way through the week already! I can't believe how fast the time is going, it is almost 2 mths since I stopped working, and I just love it. I have this cute image that was a gift, I have coloured her with Copic's, the DP is so cute it is by Simple Stories- 'Baby Steps', I have used Kraft CS, the flowers are from Prima and Kaiser, I used Glimmermist- Tattered Leather on one of the flowers, all the papers are distressed and inked with Tim Holtz- Frayed Burlap, Lace from Bizzy Bec's, as is the Tim Holtz Ticket, the seam binding was also coloured with TH Distress ink- Frayed Burlap, TH Staples, Collections heart, Kaiser Rhinestones and a Pinkpaislee- Artisan Elements Ornament (also coloured with TH Distress Ink), the scalloped circle is cut with Nestabilitie.

Semira's Frame

Well I hope you all had a good weekend. We had my mother an father-in-law come down from Geraldton (approx 470km north of us), we took MIL too see Sig, Andy & Jonathon from the 'Deadliest Catch', we love these guys and it was awesome seeing/hearing them IRL, so that was a surprise for her. And then we had a family BBQ on sat, where my MIL & FIL got a surprise, they are going to be Great Grandparents for the first time. Rick's daughter is 16wks pregnant, so another grand-child next year!! OMG that Will be number 17!!! It is the first of Rick's children to have a child, but he classes my GK's as his so he is saying it is his 17th not 1st. It's still being kept fairly quiet as she not told everyone yet but I know I can trust my blogging friends with a secret so, SHHHHHHHH don't tell xo. And then if on sunday I don't wake up with a shocking migraine and end up in bed most of the day grrrrrr. On a good note I pretty good today MIL & FIL left this morning so I was able to do all the housework (what fun), but is so nice now it all done and clean again!
Well a few days ago I put on a post of the frame (here) I did for my grand-daughter, Semira. I have been looking at it, and thought it was not quite right, needed abit more done to it so this is it with a few bits done to it, I think it looks much better but still not totally happy with it! What do you think? Any idea's?

The DP 'Sparkling Spring' available from Bizzy Bec,I have used the edge of a DooHickey Dream Tag under the image with a rub-on from my stash, Doilie and Gold embellishment also available from Bizzy Bec's. She is going to be thrilled as she love these guys too. And we are having a BBQ on Saturday as my Step-daughter is turning 20 on Monday and she will be telling everyone some BIG news, so I will share that with you on Monday.

Flowing in Blue

Another image from Sweet Pea is the gorgeous 'Flowing in Blue', she was a gift from the gorgeous Bec over at Bizzy Bec's, and if you haven't been to Bec's on-line Store you are really missing out because her range of stamps is just amazing and of course so much more so pop over here and see for yourself. The picture has come out a bit wishy washy, looks nicer IRL. The DP is from Authentique's 'Uncommon' Collection, I have also used Nestabilitie's Pendants 'Fleur De Lis', behind the image, Flower, swirls an rub-on sentiment from my stash. I used Copic's to colour my image on X-Press It Blending paper.

I had coloured the image on the weekend and was able to put it together today, though it took me awhile as I'm looking after my grand-daughters,Kahlani an Malia while my daughter works as they are both unwell, they have been lying down most of the time, so I was able to do some crafting.
On a sad note my son and daughter-in-law, miscarried their 3rd baby, she was very early in the pregnancy, but still, of course devastated.

Red Hearts...

First I want to Thank You for the get well soon messages, thank goodness the headache has finally abated, they really do get you down, the constant pain but so frustrating because you just can't do anything, at least now I'm a lady of leisure :) I don't have to drag myself to work! I hoped with not working I would be less stressed and the headaches would ease, but alas no! :(

Anyway enough about me, and how about this, another day with no Tilda in sight, can you believe it lol. I will be getting withdrawal symptoms soon lol (maybe that's why I have headache lol). I have used another Sweet Pea image, this one is 'Red Hearts' from Bizzy Bec's, she was so much fun to colour, as are they all lol. I have used DP from Collections 'Vintage Rose Collection', the Lace and Ribbon, small black Roses and Pearl Hearts are available from Bizzy Bec's on-line Store. I have used a Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Metallic 3D Paint for the centre of the Butterfly's, Kaiser Pearl Swirls, KindyGlitz, edges are distressed and inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Black Soot, sparkly flowers and pin from stash.
And I have used X-Press It Blending Paper and Copic's.

Love is Gone

Hi all, hope you all had a lovely weekend, I unfortunately have had a migraine and head-aches for the past 3 days, they are really so annoying and I just don't know what to do. I'm trying to increase my fluid in-take as I'm dreadful and drink very little especially in the winter, so I want to try an drink at least a litre a day and I'm hoping that will help! I did get this card made last week so at least I can put the post on. I have again used a Sweet Pea image, this is the gorgeous 'Love is Gone', she is available from Bec over at Bizzy Bec's on-line Store (if any images are not available just pop Bec an e-mail, and she will try and get it for you).The DP is from Authentique 'Uncommon', the Dream Tag and Vintage Lace DooHickey's are also from Bizzy Bec's, along with the flowers Fillers, White Lace and Metal Embellishment. The flowers are from my stash , and I have sewn around the edges and also distressed (I did hand stitching which was very time consuming, will get the sewing machine out next time lol).

Hi Everyone,

The August Challenge over at Bizzy Bec's Challenge Blog, is to 'Use Butterflies and the Colour Blue'

Sharing my chair!!

Hope every-one is well and had a good weekend, I was layed up with a migraine for most of it :( And today my 6yr old grand-daughter, Kahlani, is with me as she has a throat and ear infection. We came into my craft room, and look what we found,good job I spotted them before I sat down lol. I just had to get a pic of them, cuddled up together. Chester is on the left, he is a British Shorthair and he is just over 6mths, Marley is a Ragdoll and he is 11mths, they are gorgeous but the mess drives me a little crazy, Marley's hair gets everywhere. Going to get me one of those Robo-Vac, the automatic one's, my daughter has one and it's great, she turns it out when she walks out of the house and it just goes around the house and when it needs re-charging it just goes back to its charger!! How cool is that!

Some Inspiration for Bizzy Bec's Challenge...'Borders & Frames'..

Its an easy one 'Borders and Frames'. And you still have time to get your creation in! So pop over to the Bizzy Bec's Store blog Challenge.

I decided to do a real 'Frame'. This was a wooden frame I picked up from Bunnings, and I have painted it with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paint- 'Picket Fence', the DP is from the Pinkpaislee- 'Butterfly Garden Collection' as are the rub-on's, I added some flowers,leaves and fillers, I have used the cute Tilda with Ribbons in her hair (that I love but it is the first time I have coloured her up). I coloured Tilda with Copic's and used darker colours for her face, this was quite a challenge for me as I do have trouble with the African/American skin tones, not completely happy with her but best I could do. This is for my grand-daughter Semira, and she is half African and she has the dark skin and curly hair so I just had to use this Tilda for her. The Butterfly is made using the Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and I have used Stickles on them. I have also covered Tilda and the Butterfly with Modge Podge. The frame was good fun and I have 5 others to decorate, as they were so cheap, I thought they would be fun, my girls reckon I should make some up to sell (they have a stall at a market at the end of August), so I will think on it.

This is another one of the gorgeous images available from Bizzy Bec's new range of images- Butterfly 'Sweethearts'. This is the gorgeous 'Poppy'. I have again used DP from Prima's - 'Sparkling Spring' Collection, this paper is just so pretty! I have coloured her with Copic's and again used Stickles for her wings, I made the large flower on the left with Doohickeys, and I made the rose in the centre myself, the paper I used was a bit too deep, so I used my high tech tool (finger) and brushed Distress Crackle paint- 'Picket Fence' all over it, quite pleased with the effect! The small rose on the right I did myself too, the white Roses an flower fillers are from Bizzy Bec's as is the lace, Spellbinders Shapeabilities, and the metal flower top right which I popped a Kaiser pearl in the centre of.

Some Storage idea's

After doing the post on Thursday about my favourite crafting things, it got me to thinking about one of the reasons I love blogging, apart from the obvious, - looking at the gorgeous creations, and uploading mine! I love to see what other people use for crafting and storing etc, the sticky beak in me lol. I have learnt so much, by blogging,and if I hadn't seen a lot of the things I wouldn't have thought of it, so I thought I might start putting on some of what I do.
Now we all have lots of stamps, I have some plastic drawers on my desk that holds most of them, other wooden blocked ones are in a cupboard. But for my people etc Images (Magnolia, Sweetpea,Bizzy Bec's, Tickled Pink, Greeting Farm etc), t keep these in a box that is from Creative Memories, and it is supposed to be for photo storage, it's just great. And it has a lid.

There is plenty of room inside

And they have individual sections inside, and I group them together, so I can pull out a section with my 'Standing' Tilda's etc.

This container I got from Bunning's, I can't remember the exact price I think they were about $6.00ea, I got them because they were cheap, and knew I would find a use for them. Now I used to keep all my flowers in the plastic drawers (same as the stamps), on my desk and rummage through them when I needed flowers,(there are some other bits in there too as I have,nt got enough flowers to fill it) then I decided they would be perfect for my flowers, and won't get crushed either and I can easily see what I have, and they stack up neatly too, and if I'm going out to craft, easy to take with me.

I just love surfing, the net that is lol, there are just such gorgeous blogs out there, is it just me, or is there others out there who are sticky beaks and just love seeing/reading about other peoples lifes? All I ever usually put on my blog is cards, so it's about time I made it a bit more interesting, it is so good having more time on my hands, only problem is I have all these idea's and no extra income to help, oh well can't have it all, rather be home an happy, then have money and be depressed!
When other people put pictures on, they look so nice, much better then mine lol, but I just had to take a pic of my coffee and just chucked some Lindt Chocs in, to get you drooling lol, I popped them in the tray that I'm working on, it's not finished yet.

And I didn't eat all those chocolates, honest..........

Gorgeous Camelia

Good morning, wow can you believe it is Friday already. I have had a lovely week, It is the last week of school holidays here, so on Monday my daughter dropped off my 6yr old grandson Latrell, and he slept over and spent the day with me on Tuesday, it was lovely and he is such a good boy, no trouble at all. We were all watching TV about 7ish (pm), and Latrell says, ok night I'm going to bed we had to call him back to get a kiss goodnight, he does that at home too! When he left he was sobbing and apparently he cried for couple hours, he called me later that night and said he missed my face ohh gorgeous!

Anyway enough rambling. My creation today is using one of the gorgeous new images from Bizzy Bec's, she is from the Blue Butterfly 'Sweethearts' range, isn't she just adorable and she is gorgeous to colour, as are all the images. I coloured her with Copic's and used Stickles for her wings, the DP is by Prima's 'Sparkling Spring' Collection. My 4 Favourite things.

Just the other day I had popped over to the gorgeous and talented Kellie and she was talking about some of her favourite things with crafting, and I loved reading about what she likes, I always love finding out things like this, gives you great idea's etc.
So I thought I would pop a list of 4 things I just love to use when crafting. Now I thought this would be easy, maybe I should make it so I can list 20 things lol.
Number 1- my hot glue gun, I just today went and brought a new one lol, it is cordless (the cord on my old one was a pain an always getting in the way,that's my excuse anyways lol)and it is even has a little light like a torch on the nozzle! I use this all the time to add my flowers, and some of the larger embellishments.

Number 2- My Scor-Pal & Self healing Mat, I work on the mat all the time and when scoring my cards I just lift the mat up, so easy.

Number 3- Tim Holtz Distresser, I love distressing the edges and the TH Distresser is just awesome.

Number 4- My Bigshot (and all the dies and embossing folders that go with it lol), ya sneaky one this! I just love it, I have the older one not the nice black an pink one but oh well, I did bling it up but it's all come off. For all those gorgeous die's out there an embossing folders I would not be with out my Bigshot. I love the look of Tim Holtz Vagabond, so maybe when mine breaks???lol

I love Tilda..

Shhh shall I tell you a secret..... I love Tilda's lol, in case you didn't know...
This is one of my favourites, yes I know...I always say that, but she really is! When I saw her and loved her and when I went to order her from Bec, she was all sold out, but all you have to do is let Bec know what you would like and she will try, and get it for you or point you in the right direction, so Thank You Bec, mwah xo

I have coloured her with Copic's and a bit of Kindyglitz, the DP is also from Bec, another must have that she managed to get for me from, Prima's 'Sparkling Spring Collection', lace and Tim Holtz Ticket also from Bec. I Covered 2 Collections chipboard hearts with the DP and the other I painted with Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Paint, the corrugated corner was also painted, the flower is from Kaisercraft and is sprayed with 'Mel's Diner' Glimmermist, the leaves are cut with a McGill punch.
I so love how this one turned out, but with such a cute image how can you go wrong. Hope to see you tomorrow I have a creation using the one of the gorgeous new images available from Bizzy Bec's.

It's a sunshiney Day

Well here on blogland anyway, not in chilly West Australia. So I thought a nice sunny scene would be nice! I have coloured up more of the images from the new Sweet Rainbow Collection - 'Kneeling Tilda' and 'Bird Background, love them!! I have used my Copic's. DP is again from the Pinkpaislee- Butterfly Garden Collection, which I stamped on too, I distressed the Heart Doiley, and added some Kindyglitz to the the Kaisercraft flower (the larger one),the smaller white Roses are from Bec's, leaves from mt stash.

Good morning, gosh I'm on a roll, posting every day lol. This was inspired by a fellow blogger, and I'm just loving it. The DP is from Pinkpaislee's 'Butterfly Garden Collections' I'm, going to be so sad when this has all gone I love it. I have used a stamp from Stamp It and used white embossing powder (love embossing but don't do it very often), Spellbinders Nestabilitie, sorry can't remember the name but you will find it over at Bizzy Bec's, along with the fillers for the flower, the butterflies are done with my Martha Stewart punches. The flower was from my stash.

Paper piecing

Happy Monday to you all, lol, ohh it is so nice not having to get up and go to work!
I have done some paper piecing on my card today, and my Copic's, the image is 'Girlfriends' from My Favourite Things, this and the gorgeous DP 'Hideaway' from First Edition are available from Mandy at Scrappy-go-lucky, this paper pad is mainly yellow, greens and oranges (where as the Up Up an Away was blues), and lots of glitter on these papers too, I'm just loving these paper pads. The Doily Die - 'English Tea Party' is also from Scrappy-go-lucky. The flowers are all handmade by little ol me! I have also used Glossy Accents on the ladies clothes but not really happy with that, but too late now! Going to have to get some more of these ladies from Mandy they are so cool!

Strawberry Tilda

Hope you are all having a great weekend, gosh the weeks are going so fast, can you believe we are more then half way through July already! Scary how quick the time goes, my oldest grandson will be 13 yrs old in August, a teenager!! Gosh I'm feeling old lol.
Today I have used the gorgeous yummy Strawberry Tilda from the new sweet Rainbow Collection, I have coloured her with Copic's, these are available from Bec at Bizzy Bec's, as is the DP which is Prima 'Sparkling Spring Collection and the Flowers and Lace and the Charm and Scalloped circle nestability. The charm was silver and I coloured it with Copic's, looks like a real strawberry now lol, the swirl is done with my Tim Holtz Alterations die, and the Butterfly is with my Martha Stewart Punch, and some Kaiser Pearls (some coloured red with Copic's), a bit of KindyGlitz, and all done.

Saturday a time to play!

Good morning again all, are you shocked....I know my 4th day in a row of posting, lol I love not having to go to work!! And I have lots of projects under way, so stay tuned.
Today I have used Tilda with Balloon, and Tulip path love this one (actually as you probably know I pretty much love them all lol). She is coloured with Copic's (sorry colours not listed I must start doing that again. The DP is from Pinkpaislee's 'Butterfly Garden Collection' I just love this DP, these are available from Bec at Bizzy Bec's on-line store along with the Vintage Lace Doohickey, Tim Holtz Ticket, and flowers. The butterflies are from Collections I have used lots of Kindy Glitz too, and I have used Glossy Accents on the balloon to give it some dimension.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend, it is a quite cool her in West Australia, and we have been having a bit of rain, which we really need, we are always on water restrictions because we don't get enough.

And it's great, the house work is done and tea's cooking away in the slow cooker (and that was all done before lunch lol), and now I'm here!

I did this card a couple of weeks ago, and it's a boy card!! A real challenge for me! The image is 'Jack' by Ladybug Crafts,and coloured with Copic's, all are available from Mandy a'Scrappy-go-lucky', isn't he cute! The gorgeous DP is from First Edition 'Up Up & Away', this company makes the most gorgeous DP from an English company, it is in a pad of 6"x6" (perfect for Card Making), and there is single and double sided paper an some are glittery, these DP's are also available from 'Scrappy-go-lucky'. The chipboard is from Collections and I was very technical and smeared Picket Fence Distress paint on with my finger, lol, twine and rub-on words are from my stash oh and Tim Holtz Alterations swirl.

I have done this card for the 'Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge Blog', and the challenge is to follow the sketch. The DT have done a fabulous job, as always.
I have used one of my favourite Tilda's, and teamed her up with DP from
Pink Paislee 'Butterfly Garden' (these papers are just adorable),Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Prima Bling, Delish 'Sweet Brad', Little Pearl Hearts from Bizzy Bec's, the Heart Pin is also from Bizzy Bec's, and I have dipped it in Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint 'Picket Fence' and then coloured roughly (for a distressed look) with a copic. My Image is coloured with Copic's on X-press It Blending paper.
Copic's used are
Face/Skin- E00, E02, E11, R20
Hair- E30, E31, E35
Clothes- YR02, B000, B00
Shoes- E31, E35
I have also used Kindy Glitz on wings and White Uni-ball.

He sits like this a little Buddha all the time it is so cute!

Our new kitten Chester, used one of his 9 lives today, he was playing in his kitty tunnel today and he was making such a racket I thought him an Marley were getting a bit rough, I ignored him for few minutes, then went to break them up, instead I found him almost lifeless with the cord that the toy is attached to the tunnel with wrapped tightly around his neck!! I raced for my scissors, and managed to cut the cord, it was so tight I thought I would cut him but I didn't care had to get it off! He has been very quiet and cuddling up to me (which he hasn't really done much of before), most of the day. Wednesdays are my days off so lucky I was home or we would have lost him...the toy and cord have been removed from the tunnel!

This Tilda is just perfect for Birthdays, and the Challenge over at Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge blog is 'Happy Birthday'! The DP I have used is from Kaisercraft,so are the larger purple flowers, the square brads and purple clear dots are also Kaisercraft. You can't see the dimension on the photo, but I have used 3d adhesive squares on the oval base and then more on Tilda so it is diffirent dimensions.Hope everyone has had a good weekend, I worked Saturday so a short one for me :(

I just love this Tilda, yes I know I say that about most of them, but they are really just so gorgeous! And I found these gorgeous Lime green ribbon and swirls at my LSS, and I just had to have them, and the black shows them up so well, IRL anyway! So really there are hardly any embellishments on the page, just some blingy bits and a gorgeous Brad (also from mt LSS), some Black Roses from Bizzy Bec's, the butterflies have been punched with my Martha Stewart punch and some liquid pearls popped in the centre! Of course Tilda is coloured with Copic's.

April's Challenge over at Bizzy Bec's is to make your own paper, Digital, Stamping etc. For mine I have done 2 different pieces, one was a white piece that I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmermist 'Dragonfly', the other I Embossed with a Tim Holtz Embossing folder, and then rubbed with Tim Holtz 'Perfect Pearls'. I have used this gorgeous Tilda image that I recently purchased from Bizzy Bec's on-line Store, the paper Doiley, and Roses are also available from Bizzy Bec's, the Butterflies are a Martha Stewart punches and the large one has also been sprayed with Glimmermist, the rest of the embellishments are from my stash.

Thanks for the kind words on my mums accident, just wanted to let you all know she has been realised from hospital as she was doing so well. She has a long way to full recovery and her meds are knocking her around a bit, but she is home an recovering so we are so thankful.

Just Magnolia Challenge, Bingo Card...

If you go to the Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar Challenge Blog, you will see the Challenge is a Bingo Card, and you choose 3 items that are in a straight line - horizontal, vertical or diagonal, I choose the Top line across,
Gems, Distressing & Pins.
I used a Magnolia Tilda image (purchased from Bizzy Bec's), and coloured her with Copic's, the DP is from KaiserCraft 'English Rose Collection' and I inked and distressed the edges, the pins are from my collection and the Gem Swirls are Prima (I think), the large flower is from Kaisercraft also, the other flowers, DooHickey Vintage Lace Edge and little pearl Heart are all from Bizzy Bec's, I also used Ice Stickles 'Crystal Ice' on all the flowers, the butterflies are punched with the Martha Stewart Punch and a liquid Pearl has been placed in there centre and odd little ones around the page, oh and Bunnies tail lol.

Hi all,
No posts from me as have been at the hospital as my mum and dad (thats there pic)were walking their dog and mum fell an broke her hip, cut through the bone just below the hip socket so has had to have a whole new hip! My poor dad has been beside himself and mum in so much pain, it happened on Sunday and they only operated today, all went well, now we have the road to recovery. What a way to spend their 53rd Wedding Anniversary !!!
Will be back with a creation to post ASAP.

Ohh I just love this image, yes I know I say that about all the Magnolia 'Tilda's' lol, but they are really just so adorable, I just can't get enough, lucky for me the gorgeous Bec, stocks these at 'Bizzy Bec's.
This is the same image as I used yesterday but how different does she look! This time the DP is from Basic Grey 'Sugar Rush', the edges have been distressed and inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, I have used Kaiser Pearls, Liquid Pearls, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch & Glossy Accents. The DooHickey 'Vintage Lace' DooHickey Flowers, Roses and Leaves are all available from 'Bizzy Bec's'.

I finally got some time to play with my new Magnolia - Tilda stamps, that I recently purchased from 'Bizzy Bec's' on-line Store , and they are just gorgeous. I can't believe I did not like these images at first, I thought they were odd with no nose and mouths, and it was the gorgeous Bec from Bizzy Bec's, that got my hooked, and now I just LOVE them! Love how you just bring them to life when you colour them up. So this is just one of my recent purchases I will pop another one on tomorrow. The DP I have used is from the
Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby Range, which I have distressed and inked, Tim Holtz Embossing Folder, Bling from stash. Meet Cody Splattered from the 'Boyz will be Boyz' Collection along with a little friend who is sold seperately, the 'Lizard'.

I had so much fun colouring this guy up. I have used DP, buttons, paper clips, Brads and Star from my stash, and some Kaiser Rhinestones, the Ticket stub and Sentiment is from Tim Holtz. My image is coloured with Copic's and again I have misplaced the list!!
I think I'am actually enjoying using these guys, a nice change, and now I'm all organised for my Grandson Birthdays lol.

My beautiful Grand-daughter Rain....

I have just returned from a trip to South Australia to visit my son and his family, and I finally got to meet Rain, my grand-daughter who is now 9mths, she is so gorgeous and it was so hard saying goodbye, I already miss them all so much.

Fridays Tilda, wow wow its the weekend!

Ok I promise to give THIS Tilda a rest lol, she is just soo much fun!! Oops and it's with the Kaiser- 'Magic Happens' Collections again, I brought the 6x6 paper pad and these papers are so gorgeous! I have used 2 Kaiser Flowers,lots of Kaiser Rhinestones (the purple ones) the Black Pearl swirls are from Prima, I used a Sizzex Die to cut my chipboard heart and painted it with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paint and inked the edges.
Tilda is coloured with Copic's-

Wow just love this DP from Kaiser from the 'Magic Happens' Collection! I have used Doo Hickey Flower with lots of diamond Stickle, well actually the Stickles are every where lol, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Kaiser Pearls, Sizzex Heard frame, Cuttlebug XO and Ribbon from my LSS.

Wow can't believe it's Thursday already, this week has flown, spent the first part of it with a flu like virus, which is not fun at the best of times but seems worse when the weather is so hot!
Really excited that on the 25th February, my daughter and I are going to South Australia to see my son who I have not seen for almost 3 yrs, and finally get to meet my grand-daughter, Rain who is 7 mths wow wow.

Another Post for today, wow I'm on a roll lol, but...how long will it last!
I'm entering this card in the 'Just Magnolia Challenge'- 'Anything Goes' and they have added the option of using Ribbon.
I have used the cute Tilda with Basket, the DP is again from Kaisers new
'Magic Happens' Collection. My Sizzix Stars have been painted with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint and the edges inked with TH Distress Ink, the TH Metal Corner was also painted with TH Distress Crackle Paint, the Purple Flower is from Kaiser and had been sprayed with Glimmermist, Brad alson from Kaiser, Little Pearls in bottom left are from Prima, I have used Flower Soft on the Flowers in the basket.
Filler Flowers from Bizzy Bec's,Ribbons and white Flower from my LSS and homemade button!
I have coloured the image with Copic's-.
