Sue's Tuesday at 'The Stamp Spot'

Well it's Tuesday again, which means it's my day at 'The Stamp Spot', I have had such a busy past week with the grandchildren an then getting a migraine which knocked me for 3 days an now I off to work, that I really didn't have much time to do a card, so this card using 'The Greeting Farm' - 'Skater Ian' is just a really quick simple card, using products from my DT pack from Marcia, so everything is available over at 'The Stamp Spot on-line Store'. It also goes to show that not all cards need to be complicated with lots of embellishments. Have a great week every-one.

2 Challenges in 1

Now I don't usually do this, an I hope Bec & Kellie don't mind but I have combined their 2 Challenges. Bec, over at 'Bizzy Bec's Creatalicious' Challenge was-
Used paper (an I had used this Basic Grey for my Anya Ink card)
New CS (my SU CS)
& Hand-made flowers (which I have made by cutting out DP circles).
Kellie over at 'Magnolia Down Under's' Challenge was Distressing, so all the edges have been distressed with my Heidi Swapp distresser, scrunched up an inked with Tim Holtz- Distresser Ink.
Also on my card I have used some gorgeous leaves from Bec's on-line store, an the gorgeous new Peaches Tilda, she is so adorable.

Anya Ink Challenge #4 - Paper Tole'

Wow can't believe 'Anya Ink' is on their 4th Challenge, which means I've missed 2!! There has just been so much happening the time has got away from me, I bet I'm not the only one to feel like that! Any-way I have managed to do an entry for this weeks Challenge, which is 'Paper Tole', good fun... I have used 'Hope & Grace Snuggle, she is so cute! My DP is Basic Grey's 'Sugared/beauty, which is gorgeous, Making Memories ribbon & Kaiser cream pearl Rhinestones. I distressed the edges with my Heidi Swapp Distresser (my husband got that for me an I didn't use it for ages, now I just love it), the bow is from my stash, to add dimension I used one of my favourite products 'Helmar' - Scrap Dots, for any one who hasn't tried it your missing out, it's like a thick glue (well it is a glue), an it can be used to add a lot of depth or a little, its wonderful,I used it on the flowers an the saying just to add a bit more depth.

Well its Melbourne cup day here in Perth an the weather is fantastic, I'm looking after my 3 grandchildren while their mum an dad are on their honeymoon, an had baby sitters organised so I could go out for Melbourne Cup lunch but I have a head cold an Charlie my 11yr old grandson didn't go to school as he was feeling sick, so I blogging instead.

A Tribute to 'Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge blog'

Unfortunately 'Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge Blog' is having their last Challenge I loved making those little ATC's. Thanks you so much for having me on the DT I loved it. I was unable to join in the last 2 challenges, but I have made this card with one of the previous ATC's. So to Caz an all the Design Team I would like to say 'Thank you all for a great blog, an it will be missed'. I will still visit your blogs you are all so talented. Hugs to you all.

My late Tuesday card for 'The Stamp Spot'

My card for 'The Stamp Spot' was a day late this week an I accidently muscled in on the gorgeous talented Debbie's day, luckily she a sweetie an forgave me, so please pop over to the blog an check out Debbie's gorgeous card. Everything I used on the card (except sentiment) were in my DT pack from the gorgeous Marcia, and they are all available over at 'The Stamp Spot on-line store' so go have a look at the awesome range of well, just everything in the store! Sorry for the not so good photo, bit rushed here at moment, it's been a very busy week, my son an 3 friends were in a dreadful accident on fri night but someone was watching over them as they have only minor injuries (the car did not get off so lightly), now I'm preparing for my daughters wedding this sat, an next week I have a week off of work to look after my 3 grandchildren aged 2, 4 an 11, while their mum an dad are on their honeymoon!!!

Tilda & Friends ATC 'Paper Piecing'

Well I hadn't tried Paper Piecing (yes I know Tracey, shock horror lol), until this week an now this is the 2nd one in a week! At 'Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge blog' the theme is 'Paper Piecing', so that's what I have done with my Tilda this week, using some gorgeous Basic Grey paper, chipboard heart painted with Tim Holtz Crackle paint, a couple of rhinestone pearls an some Glossy Accents...easy.
Now for the bad news.....'Tilda & Friends ATC Challenges' will be finishing at the end of October, unfortunately there was not enough people joining in, an most weeks it was just us girls from the DT an no entries! I will really miss doing these ATC's with the girls, they have been so much fun. So I just want to thank the talented Caz and all the talented girls on the Design Team, for making an awesome blog, an I was so proud to be a part of it.

My Tuesday at "The Stamp Spot'

Tuesday again wow it comes around fast! I have used 'The Greeting Farm' Miss Anya 'Dressy' again, there are 3 in this stamp set and the last 3 weeks at 'The Stamp Spot' I have used a diffirent one each week, they are all gorgeous an so easy to work with. I have paper pieced this one, I'm new to paper piecing an now wondering why I waited so long to try it (I just working on another one but thats a secret so you will have to pop back tomorrow to see that one).

PS The pups are doing great they are all getting so fat, they are 9 days old now, in the next few days they should open there eyes so thats exciting, will post photos soon.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge 'Pick your Favourite'

Oh no I have just realised how similar this weeks ATC is to last weeks, but I have no time to do another one as I just off to work! I promise they are different Tilda's, this weeks was 'Pick your Favourite' so I used my favourite Magnolia stamp, an a 'Collection' chipboard Butterfly, cause I love them, some white lace, could I love it, a chipboard button, ya you guessed it cause I love em! Kaiser Rhinestones cause they my favourite (tricked ya hehe), an my Fiskars edge punch ya 'cause I love it!!! And I just adore(got you again), this Kaiser paper, so I think I covered the 'Favourite things bit' (well I couldn't fit them all on the ATC, I think Caz should have called this 'Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge' - 'Pick what you Love'!!!
Anyway you just have to check out what the rest of the talented DT have done over at 'Tilda & Friends', an please join in they really are so much fun, an great card toppers, I will be back to put my ATC onto a card with a few other things 'I love'!!!

My Tuesday at "The Stamp Spot'

Hi all, an what a lovely sunny day it is here in Perth today! Our new Shar-pei pups

Our 2 Shar-pei's 'Khan' & 'Nayah', became the proud parents of 2 girls an a boy, between 11.30pm 3rd Oct & 1.20am 4th Oct. They are all so cute!!
So we would like to introduce, from left to right- 'Baloo', the last born an the only boy,then his sister 'Bageera' who was the first born and his other sister 'Akela', aren't they just soo cute!

Tilda & Friends ATC 'Punch It!'

This week we challenge you to 'Punch It! on your ATC's. All participants will be entered into our monthly draw to win a prize.

This week at the 'Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge' blog, the theme is 'Punch It', so you must have something punched on your ATC, I have punched out a flower using my EK Success small Daisy Punch which I mounted on chipboard & glossed with Glossy Accents an popped a Kaiser Rhinestone in the centre, I also punched Butterfly's using my Carl punch (I layered them on top of each other) an then put a couple of Kaiser Rhinestones down the body, I used my Favourite Magnolia Stamp coloured with Prisma watercolour pencils, the CS is from SU, the DP is Basic Grey 'Offbeat', a piece of ribbon an a couple of brads from stash an all done!
